Note: The Nitro Sign app listed in the Dropbox App Center is being discontinued from Feb 18, 2026. As a result, opening files, self-signing documents, converting PDFs, organizing and optimizing files directly from Dropbox using Open with Nitro will no longer be supported.
You can still connect Dropbox to Nitro Sign using the cloud storage options within Nitro Sign to upload files from Dropbox and copy back to Dropbox.

Use Dropbox with Nitro Sign
You can continue to work with Dropbox files by using the built-in cloud storage integration in Nitro Sign.
Upload files from Dropbox

Sign in to Nitro Sign

When uploading a document, select Dropbox as the cloud storage source

Choose the file you want to upload from your Dropbox account
Save files back to Dropbox

Complete your actions in Nitro Sign

When saving or downloading the file, select Copy to Storage then Dropbox

Choose the destination folder in your Dropbox account

Your file will be saved to Dropbox and available for access there
