The challenge: Find a cost-effective alternative to existing PDF software

UKSBS is a public sector shared service center that provides finance, HR, procurement, and IT services to more than 25,000 civil and public servants in the UK.
About one-third of its 750 employees use PDF editing software as part of their daily work. In 2022, proposed changes to the licensing terms for the software UKSBS was using were expected to increase costs and make the software less convenient to use.

Working with Softcat, UKSBS evaluated several potential providers to find an alternative PDF editing solution.
