How to Move Nitro PDF to a New Computer

Transferring your Nitro PDF license to a new computer is straightforward if you follow the correct steps. By deactivating your license on the old computer and reactivating it on the new one, you can continue using all Nitro features without interruption. 

This guide walks you through the process quickly and efficiently, saving you time and preventing activation issues.

Deactivate Nitro PDF on your current computer

Before moving Nitro to a new computer, you need to free up your license:

1. Open Nitro PDF. 
2. On the Help tab, select About Nitro. Take note of the serial number that is displayed in the dialog box.  
3. Click Activation. 

Click Deactivate.  

To install Nitro PDF on your new computer:

1. Visit gonitro.com/product-details/downloads. 
2. Download the version of Nitro you were using. 
3. Nitro PDF will be installed as a 14-day free trial.

Activate your Nitro PDF license on the new computer

1. On the Help tab, navigate to the Product group. 
2. Click About Nitro PDF. 
3. Click Activate.
4. Enter your serial in the text box.
