When using the MSI installer, please ensure the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable is up to date before installing Nitro PDF Pro. See the Installation Guide for more information.

Nitro PDF Pro includes an automatic In-App Updater that notifies users of new enhancements and security patches, allowing them to self-update.

If your deployment requires custom configurations or you want to block user self-updates, please refer to the Installation Guide.

OCR Language Packages

Nitro PDF Pro includes built-in OCR support for multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Finnish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Brazilian, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Swedish.

Additional OCR language packs are available for download and can be installed with Nitro PDF Pro to improve text recognition accuracy for scanned PDF documents in these additional languages.
