PDFpen is a Mac-based app and leverages the macOS for many of its capabilities such as font support, scanning, and printing.

When you initially launch the application, you will see a welcome window. This window provides an overview of the most common tasks and provides convenient links to helpful resources for more information.

To set your macOS default PDF application:

Nitro PDF Pro aims to provide good assistive support for users who may need it. To see which accessibility shortcuts the application currently supports, choose Nitro PDF Pro > Services > Services Preferences > Accessibility.

The first step of printing should be to visit File > Page Setup (Command+Shift+P) if you need any special settings or to double-check the settings you have now.

Display the Inspector to see or edit document information. Click the Inspector button in the toolbar or choose Window > Inspector (Command+Option+I). (Inspector).

Comment boxes will print where they appear within the PDF.

Locate the Share button in the upper right corner of the Toolbar.

When checked, this print option will not print any of the original document text. It will only print information added to the document, for example, annotations such as Text, Comments, Notes, and Scribbles.
