Andrew Gray joined Nitro’s Board of Directors in March 2023 as a Non-Executive Director.

Andrew brings with him over 30 years of experience across private equity, Board roles, M&A.

Andrew Gray is currently Co-Managing Director of Potentia, which he founded in 2014, with the vision to build a private equity franchise focused solely on investing in software, technology, and tech-enabled services businesses.

Andrew currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Micromine, Education Horizons Group, Linkly, and is Chairman of SuperChoice. Until its sale to Ceridian in early 2021, he also served as Executive Chairman of Ascender (formerly Talent2 HRMS). He also serves on a range of philanthropic and social impact ventures, including the Synchrony Foundation, which funds a range of social impact activities, including a focus on charitable areas dealing with woman's issues.

Prior to founding Potentia, Andrew Gray was a Managing Director of Archer Capital, a leading Australian private equity firm with A$3bn of funds under management, having joined that firm in 2008. Andrew Gray led the highly successful acquisition and divestment of MYOB, and more recently, he directed the acquisition of V8 Supercars. He also served as a Director of iNova Pharmaceuticals.

Andrew Gray holds a bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
