SAN FRANCISCO – June 9, 2015 – Nitro, the leader in document productivity, today launched Nitro Pro 10, the latest version of its desktop offering, and Nitro Pro+ 10, a new SaaS document productivity solution. The development of Nitro Pro+ 10 continues Nitro’s innovation streak following its major funding round in November 2014.
Nitro Pro+ 10 combines the richness of Nitro Pro with the flexibility of Nitro Cloud into an industry-leading document productivity solution that accelerates the way businesses create, prepare and sign documents; anytime, anywhere.
“Nitro continues to transform the way the world interacts with documents,” said Sam Chandler, founder and CEO of Nitro. “This solution transcends competitive point solutions in PDF transformation and eSignatures to establish Nitro as a firm leader in document productivity, and the only viable competitor to Adobe Document Cloud.”
With a rich history in providing digital document solutions, Nitro currently helps more than 500,000 businesses around the world improve document productivity. Nitro continually searches for ways to help companies remove costly bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and recently partnered with the PDF Association to survey more than 1,200 knowledge workers to gain insight into the document usage habits of the modern workforce. The survey found that the top document challenges are editing (55 percent of respondents), reviewing and signing (31 percent each), which are negatively impacting productivity.
Nitro Pro+ 10 bundles key cloud-based integrations from Nitro Cloud to overcome these challenges, including the capability to request and receive unlimited eSignatures on the desktop; online storage integrations with Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox; and online collaboration tools to share documents and provide feedback with online markup and commenting tools.
“Modern businesses are still constrained by a vital business tool they use multiple hours every day – documents,” said Sam Thorpe, director of product at Nitro. “In developing Pro 10 and Pro+ 10, we worked closely with businesses across the spectrum, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, to deliver a completely new solution specifically designed to provide greater visibility and control over documents."
