The Role: 
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Front-End) to help design, develop and deliver our key applications. The team deliver SaaS products and services that enable dynamic, secure, industry-leading document workflows that empower our customers to work on what matters to them, like Nitro Workspace, the landing page that allows Nitro users to access Nitro products in the Cloud, and Nitro Sign, offering easy to use eSigning, Document sharing, and Document editing solutions.

 

What you'll be doing:  

• Working closely with a tightly knit engineering organization to design, deliver, and improve technical solutions that delight our customers  

• Develop and implement automated unit and integration tests to validate software functionality, performance, and robustness.  

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in front-end development  

• Use Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices during the development process, ensuring frequent and reliable software releases.  

• Influencing, implementing and discussing new designs, architectures, standards and best practices for large-scale distributed systems  

 

What we're looking for:  

• 3 to 5 years’ experience working with front-end applications and frameworks, including React and Angular 
  
  
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals
  
  
• An understanding of modern web application programming principles (e.g. favouring composition over inheritance), design patterns and architecture concepts. 

• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.  

• Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests to ensure quality 

• Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.  

• Proficiency in agile software development methodologies (we use Scrum).  

 

Outstanding candidates will also have: 

• Full-stack experience and back-end exposure. 
• Basic AI knowledge and usage (Claude/ChatGPT
• Experience developing desktop applications with Electron, especially Angular-Electron integration
