Open and save files to a WebDAV location

Nitro PDF Pro for Windows

Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) is an extension of the HTTP protocol. It allows users to manage and share files on a remote server.

Use WebDAV to store files in a shared folder over HTTP or in a document management system (DMS). This lets users access files from different locations.

About WebDAV support

Nitro PDF Pro supports WebDAV connections. Use this feature to perform the following actions:

    • Open PDF files from HTTP locations
    • Edit PDF files and save changes to a web location
    • Check in and check out files to control access

Note: To save a PDF file to a WebDAV location, you must map the network drive in Windows.

    1. Click the Windows button, then click Computer
