Trial and Activation

Nitro offers a free 14-day trial to explore all its features. To keep using Nitro Pro after the trial, purchase a license and activate it within the application. Activation verifies your genuine Nitro purchase by linking the software license to your computer.

1. Visit gonitro.com and click Try for Free.
2. Enter your email and click Start your free trial.
3. Verify your email using the link in the email from Team Nitro.
4. Create your account with your email and password, then click "Confirm."
5. Congratulations! You have access to Nitro for 14 days. This includes:
   
   1. Nitro Workspace + web tools
   2. Nitro Sign Standard
   3. Nitro PDF Pro for all platforms (Windows, Mac, iOS)
6. Download and install the apps on your device for the full feature set. Log in with your account details.

If you downloaded Nitro PDF Pro directly instead of starting the trial from the website:

1. Open Nitro Pro and click Log In in the top right corner.
2. In the Welcome window, click "Don't have an account? Sign up."
3. Enter your email address and click "Start your free trial."
4. Verify your email using the link in the email from Team Nitro.
5. Create your account with your email and password, then click "Confirm."
6. Congratulations! You can now access the full Nitro Pro feature set.
7. Return to Nitro PDF Pro and log in with your new account details.

1. During or after your trial, you can subscribe to a Nitro plan*.
2. After purchase, log out and log back into Nitro PDF Pro. This updates your account and:
   
   1. If your trial is active: You'll keep all features (promotional banners are removed).
   2. If your trial is expired: You'll unlock all premium features and remove promotional banners.
3. Already subscribed? Just log out and log back in to update your account.

1. Subscribe to a Nitro plan* using the Buy Now button in Nitro Workspace.
2. Refresh the Nitro Workspace page after purchase to activate your subscription.
   
   1. If your trial is active: You'll keep all features (promotional banners are removed).
   2. If your trial is expired: You'll unlock all premium features and remove promotional banners.

Nitro Plan* purchased without a trial period:

• Users who purchase a Nitro subscription without a trial period will receive a setup email with the subject “Your team has been setup “ containing an account verification link. By clicking on this link, they will be asked to complete the account registration. Once verified, users will be redirected to Nitro Workspace with an active account and subscription.

*See the subscription plans available by clicking on the "Buy Now" button at Nitro Workspace or PDF Pro.

Important: Enterprise License is only available for Nitro PDF Pro for Windows.

1. Open Nitro PDF Pro and go to Help > About Nitro PDF Pro > Activate.
2. Enter your license information, including your first and last name.
3. To activate:
   
   1. Serial Number: Copy and paste your license number into the field.
   2. License File: Click Upload License, select your .lic file, and click Activate.

Click the Buy Now button from any Nitro PDF Pro tab to purchase a perpetual license. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

1. Open Nitro Pro and go to Help > About Nitro PDF Pro > Activate.
2. Enter your 18-digit serial number and click Activate.
