With Nitro PDF Pro, you can view an existing role map of your document to identify which roles content elements have.
For example, if a PDF document contains a table, you can instantly identify which elements have the role of the header row, data rows and column headers.
To view the role map
1. Open your PDF document with Nitro PDF Pro.
2. Do one of the following:
- Select Accessibility > Role Map.
- On the Sidebar, which appears on the left side of your document, click the Tag icon to view the document structure. Then, under Tags, click the Role Map icon.
3. Review how content elements are mapped to roles.
4. When ready, click Close.
