Nitro PDF Pro for MacOS

Nitro PDF Pro includes built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to help you convert scanned documents into editable, searchable text.

 

OCR is ready to use with the following languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Finnish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

 

You can expand OCR support by downloading additional languages: Catalan, Korean, Polish, Traditional Chinese, and Welsh. Adding additional languages improves OCR accuracy and allows Nitro PDF Pro to recognize, search, and edit scanned text in a wider range of languages.
