Activate Nitro PDF Pro

Trial and Activation 

You can use Nitro PDF Pro with a 14-day trial or with a paid license. 
Activation links the license to your computer or Nitro account. 

Start a 14-Day Trial 

A Nitro trial gives full access to Nitro products for 14 days. 

The trial includes: 

• Nitro PDF Pro (Windows, macOS, iOS) 

• Nitro Sign Standard 

• Nitro Workspace and web tools 

Start a Trial from the Website 

1. Go to gonitro.com
2. Select Free Trial on the main page
3. Enter your email address
4. Select Start your free trial
5. Open the email from Nitro
6. Click the verification link
7. Create your account
8. Select Confirm
9. Your 14-day trial starts. You can download and install Nitro PDF Pro. 

Start a Trial from Nitro PDF Pro 

1. Open Nitro PDF Pro
2. Select Log In
3. Select Don’t have an account? Sign up
4. Enter your email address
5. Select Start your free trial
6. Verify your email
7. Create your account
8. Log in to Nitro PDF Pro 
9. Nitro PDF Pro runs in trial mode for 14 days

Purchase a License 

You must purchase a license to continue using Nitro PDF Pro after the trial. 

Purchase Options:

• Select Buy Now in Nitro PDF Pro

• Select Buy Now in Nitro Workspace

Activate from Nitro PDF Pro 

1. After purchasing your license, log out and log back to Nitro PDF Pro
2. Your subscription becomes active

Activate from Nitro Workspace 

1. Purchase a subscription by clicking the Buy Now button

1. Refresh the Nitro Workspace page

1. Your subscription becomes active

Activate an Enterprise License

Activate with a Serial Number 

1. Open Nitro PDF Pro
2. Navigate to Help and then About Nitro PDF Pro
3. Select Activate
4. Enter your first and last name
5. Enter the 18-digit serial number
6. Click the Activate button

Activate with a License File (.lic) 

1. Open Nitro PDF Pro
2. Navigate to Help and then About Nitro PDF Pro
3. Select Upload License
4. Select the .lic file
5. Select OK
6. A confirmation message appears
