Embedding Fonts

Nitro PDF Pro for Windows

Embedding fonts ensures that a PDF displays correctly on all devices. This is important for accessibility and compatibility with assistive technologies. 

If fonts are not embedded, the document may not render correctly on systems that do not have the same fonts installed. 

Embed fonts 

  1. Open the PDF in Nitro Pro 
  2. Go to Accessibility 
  3. Click Embed Fonts 
  4. Click OK to confirm 
  5. Nitro Pro embeds the fonts into the PDF and displays a confirmation message showing the number of fonts embedded 
  6. Click OK to close the message 

The PDF contains all required font information and displays consistently across different devices and systems.
