Insert Pages
Nitro PDF Pro for Windows
Use Nitro PDF Pro to insert pages from another PDF, a scanner, the clipboard, or a blank page into an existing document. You can insert an entire file or a selected page range.
To insert pages from a PDF file:
- Do one of the following:
- On the Home tab, in the Pages group, click Insert
- On the Page Layout tab, in the Pages group, click Insert
- In the Open dialog, select the PDF file to insert
- Click Open
- In the Insert Pages dialog, select the page range and the insertion location.
- Click Insert.
To insert pages using the Pages pane:
- In the left navigation pane, click the Pages tab
- Drag a PDF file from File Explorer into the Pages pane
- Drop the file at the required position
Note: Nitro PDF Pro converts compatible files to PDF before inserting them
To insert pages from a scanner:
- Do one of the following:
- On the Home tab, in the Pages group, click the arrow below Insert, and select Insert from Scanner
- On the Page Layout tab, in the Pages group, click the arrow below Insert, and select Insert from Scanner
- In the Single Scan Settings dialog, select the scan options.
- Click Scan
- Repeat scanning if required, or finish the scan process
- In the Insert Pages dialog, select the page range and insertion location
- Click OK
To insert pages from the clipboard:
- Copy an image to the clipboard
- Open the Insert from Clipboard tool
- In the Insert Pages dialog, select the page range and insertion location
- Click OK
To insert a blank page:
- In the left navigation pane, click the Pages tab
- Select a page location in the Pages pane
- Click Insert Blank Page
To copy pages between PDFs:
- Open both the source and destination PDF files
- In the source file, open the Pages pane
- Select the page to copy
- Drag the page to the destination PDF
- Save the destination file
