Insert Pages

Nitro PDF Pro for Windows

Use Nitro PDF Pro to insert pages from another PDF, a scanner, the clipboard, or a blank page into an existing document. You can insert an entire file or a selected page range.

To insert pages from a PDF file:

    1. Do one of the following:
      1. On the Home tab, in the Pages group, click Insert
      2. On the Page Layout tab, in the Pages group, click Insert
    2. In the Open dialog, select the PDF file to insert
    3. Click Open
    4. In the Insert Pages dialog, select the page range and the insertion location.
    5. Click Insert.

    To insert pages using the Pages pane:

      1. In the left navigation pane, click the Pages tab
      2. Drag a PDF file from File Explorer into the Pages pane
      3. Drop the file at the required position

    Note: Nitro PDF Pro converts compatible files to PDF before inserting them

    To insert pages from a scanner:

      1. Do one of the following:
        1. On the Home tab, in the Pages group, click the arrow below Insert, and select Insert from Scanner
        2. On the Page Layout tab, in the Pages group, click the arrow below Insert, and select Insert from Scanner
      2. In the Single Scan Settings dialog, select the scan options.
      3. Click Scan
      4. Repeat scanning if required, or finish the scan process
      5. In the Insert Pages dialog, select the page range and insertion location
      6. Click OK

      To insert pages from the clipboard:

        1. Copy an image to the clipboard
        2. Open the Insert from Clipboard tool
        3. In the Insert Pages dialog, select the page range and insertion location
        4. Click OK

      To insert a blank page:

        1. In the left navigation pane, click the Pages tab
        2. Select a page location in the Pages pane
        3. Click Insert Blank Page

      To copy pages between PDFs:

        1. Open both the source and destination PDF files
        2. In the source file, open the Pages pane
        3. Select the page to copy
        4. Drag the page to the destination PDF
        5. Save the destination file
