Create a PDF Portfolio

A PDF Portfolio is a collection of files that are gathered and saved into a PDF container. PDF portfolios can consist of anything from PDF documents, Excel spreadsheets, images, or even multimedia files; and they behave similarly to zip archives by enabling you to share collections of different documents as one PDF file.

Note: Your Portfolio can include various file types, similar to a ZIP file. 

  1. Navigate to the Convert tab
  2. Click the Portfolio button
  3. The Create PDF Portfolio window opens
  4. Click arrow on the the Add Files button to add your files or folders
  5. Click Remove to remove files
  6. Use the plus and minus on the zoom tool to zoom in or zoom out on the files view
  7. At the bottom of the window, you can see the number of files and number of pages in total
  8. Click Create to start the process or Cancel to end
  9. Right-click on any file in the Portfolio and select one of the following:
    • Open file in native application: open the file in the application set as its default viewer
    • Extract from Portfolio: save a copy of the file outside of the Portfolio
    • Select all: select all the files to modify them together
    • Detail view: switch the view from tiles to a detailed list
    • Show information: view the properties of the file
  10. In the File menu click Save to commit the files to a PDF Portfolio
