Convert Microsoft Outlook Emails to PDF

Nitro PDF for Windows

In Microsoft Outlook 2007 and later, Nitro appears as a tab in the ribbon. You can use this tab to create PDF files and change conversion settings.

Convert a single email to PDF

  1. In Outlook, double-click the email to open it
  2. Click the Nitro Pro tab
  3. Click Create PDF
  4. Select a save location
  5. Click Save

Note: To create an archival PDF, select Comply with PDF/A-1b in the Creation panel


Convert a single email to a secure PDF

  1. In Outlook, double-click the email to open it
  2. Click the Nitro Pro tab
  3. Select Apply Security
  4. Click Create PDF
  5. In the dialog box, select the required security options
  6. Click Create
  7. Select a save location
  8. Click Save


Convert multiple emails to PDF

  1. In Outlook, press and hold Ctrl
  2. Select the emails
  3. Click the Nitro Pro tab
  4. Click From Selected Email(s)
  5. Select a save location
  6. Click OK


Convert a folder to PDF

  1. In Outlook, select the folder
  2. Click the Nitro Pro tab
  3. Click From Selected Folder(s)
  4. Select a save location
  5. Click OK


Change PDF conversion settings

  1. Click Advanced
  2. In the Settings, Optimization, and View tabs, select the required options
  3. Click OK
