Create and Edit JavaScript

The JavaScript Console lets you write a script that is not attached to a field or another document element. Use the console to test routines and debug code. 

To use the JavaScript console:

  1. On the Forms ribbon, in the Document Setup group, click the arrow besides the JavaScript button
    Document setup
  2. Click Console
  3. Enter the script
    Javascript editor
  4. Click Execute and OK
