Add or Delete Images from a PDF

Nitro PDF for Windows

Use the Add Image tool to insert images into a PDF file. You do not need to edit the source file.


Insert an image

  1. On the Review tab, in the Review Tools group, click Add Image
  2. Optional: Click the arrow next to Add Image, and select one of the following:
    • From File
    • From Clipboard
    • From Scanner
  3. Select the image
  4. Click Open
  5. Click the page to place the image
  6. Drag the image to move it
  7. Drag the handles to resize the image
  8. Drag the rotation handle to rotate the image


Delete an image

  1. Click Edit on the ribbon
  2. Click the image to select it
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Press Delete
    • Right-click the image and click Delete


Delete multiple images

  1. Click Edit on the ribbon
  2. Select multiple images:
    • Press and hold Shift, then click each image
    • Or drag the pointer to select multiple images
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Press Delete
    • Right-click the selection and click Delete
