Migrate Stamps from Adobe Acrobat to Nitro PDF Pro

Use the following steps to transfer custom stamps from Adobe Acrobat to Nitro PDF Pro.

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Go to the Adobe Acrobat stamps folder
For Adobe Acrobat XI, the default folder is:

    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\11.0\Stamps
  3. Copy the stamp files to another location on the computer

If Nitro PDF Pro does not already contain a custom stamp, create one first:

  1. Open Nitro PDF Pro
  2. Select the Review tab
  3. Select the Stamp drop-down menu
  4. Select Manage Stamps
  5. Select Create
  6. Create a test stamp
  7. Select OK

Nitro PDF Pro creates the following files in the stamps folder:
    • user_stamps.pdf
    • user_stamps.cnf

For Nitro PDF Pro V26, the default stamps folder is:
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Nitro\PDF Pro\CV\Stamps
For Nitro PDF Pro V14, the default stamps folder is:
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Nitro\PDF Pro\14\Stamps

  8. Open the folder that contains the copied Adobe Acrobat stamp files from Step 1
  9. Copy the .PDF and .CNF stamp files
  10. Go to the Nitro PDF Pro stamps folder:
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Nitro\PDF Pro\CV\Stamps
    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Nitro\PDF Pro\14\Stamps
  11. Paste the files into the folder

    Notes:
    • Copy only stamp files. Do not copy signature files from the Adobe Acrobat AppData folder.
    • You can also distribute the user_stamps.pdf and user_stamps.cnf files across multiple computers by using a batch file.
  12. After you complete these steps, open the Stamp menu in Nitro PDF Pro to confirm that the Adobe Acrobat stamps appear correctly.
