The Role

The Vice President of US Sales will be responsible for leading and scaling Nitro’s North American business, developing, and executing upon a hyper growth strategy for the region. The VP of US Sales will have a demonstrated track record of success scaling a rapidly growing subscription business, building an enterprise-focused, top-down, solution-oriented field sales team with demonstrated big ticket wins.

The VP of US Sales will be a strategic business thinker who recognizes changing market dynamics and contributes to Nitro’s overall strategy in a collaborative way. He/she will have a strong appreciation for driving and delivering a repeatable sales process, detail-oriented standards and pipeline management, and a culture of accountability. The VP of US Sales will promote a results and performance-based culture, while infusing the appropriate level of process and prioritization.

The VP of US Sales will play a key role in building out the North America sales team, recruiting and developing world class sales talent. In addition to hiring, training, motivating, and leading the sales organization, the VP of US Sales will be a professional "relationship developer," fostering deep relationships with Nitro’s customers.

Aa a key leader at Nitro, this role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Flanagan, and be a member of Nitro’s Executive Leadership Team.


  • Develop and execute a high growth strategy for North America.

  • Ensure successful execution of the sales model to meet or exceed bookings and revenue goals in alignment with the company’s core values

  • Manage overall sales process; set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.

  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly bookings and manage a tight pipeline.

  • Develop and maintain key customer and partner relationships; implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.


  • Proven expertise in selling a product that delivers enterprise business value.

  • Experience building and scaling a world class team within emerging markets and complex buying environments.

  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers in key markets.

  • Experience selling through a consultative approach at the VP and C-level.

  • High-touch relationship selling experience.

  • Experience driving revenue in hyper growth environments.
